Pulteney Bridge

I love this unusual shot of the Pulteney Bridge. A very picturesque bridge with shops on it, rather similar to the Pont Vecchio in Florence. You can also glimpse the buildings on the other side of the river as well as the Georgian collonaded walkway by the river. Above it is the side of the Victoria Art Gallery and Guildhall.

  2. I do like the stonework and the shape of the archway in contrast to the colonades. I like the bleached grey of the stones; much of our stonework in Sydney is sandstone which is yellow. The river (name?) is a lovely green. Is it a clean river?

  5. The deep green is as close to the green of the Irish sea here as I have seen in the UK. I imagine that Bath is proving to be a surprise to many non UK residents. Always loved the city as it's so European.
