This picture marks a radical departure for us as it actually shows Bath full of people! At this time of year the city starts to get busy and the courtyard outside of the abbey is a popular area when the sun is shining.
It is fun to see the people in this shot. Thanks for your comments about the Frank Lloyd Wright Series. I was hoping it would be of interest to people. I have a few more days and then I will move on to different Chihuly, cactus and desert photos. I was in Morocco for the past two weeks so I wanted to make sure there was a series of something that would be informative and different for people to enjoy while I was away. Morocco was very interesting and, surprisingly, very French. A very different experience than Egypt or Jordan. It was a quite enjoyable trip. I will spend the next week catching up on everyone's websites and enjoying their photos. Thanks for your comments on my site. I have read them all.
We are Tom Dawson and Emma Bond and we live in Bath. Tom is a video and film editor and web designer and Emma is a landscape designer, gardener and writer. We both love old school photography, particularly Polaroid and super8 film.
Beautiful photo! Lovely composition and great city-live scene! Awesome buildings in the background!
ReplyDeleteExcellent slice of life. Looks to be mostly younger people; is there a school nearby?
ReplyDeleteThere's an old photo feeling in this photo. But when you click it to enlarge, everything's very different.
ReplyDeleteI like your radical departure. It is such a timeless image taken as mono. You do get a sense of urgency yet calm with the gap in the foreground.
ReplyDeletebeautiful view , i like the b&w !
