All of the houses at the Royal Crescent have courtyard gardens in their basements. We loved this one and especially with the magnolia blossom petals strewn on the paving stones. Each courtyard is different, some full of plants, some empty. If we had one it would be stuffed with plants!
Nice. Looks like a pastel.
ReplyDeleteNice photograph. I saw the queen yesterday with our president. Nice lady.
ReplyDeleteWe had thunderstorms last night and lots of rain and lightening.
The photos you post on this wonderful
ReplyDeleteblog are amazing! You should put them
together in a book. How fun would that
be?!
beutiful angle , nice tree !
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and very nostalgic photo - this tree looks quite sad among the walls of the buildings - but it is still beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI remember seeing this when we visited Bath last Easter!
ReplyDeleteSuperbly composed! The flower petals almost look like glass!
ReplyDeleteThis courtyard is so charming because of the blossoms! Lovely photo!
ReplyDeletegood eye to see the magnolia petals. it looks like a painting.
ReplyDeleteI think one of your photo is missing. I saw it in my bookmark and I loved it. This one is lovely with an old feeling in it, just like your polaroid ones. Magnolia always gives me impression as a strong flower -I don't know how to say it in English correctly :)-. They were right to title the movie 'Steel Magnolias"
ReplyDeleteI wish you have your own coutyard garden someday.
Have a nice weekend.
so beautiful!!
