This image of the London Road has been heavily photoshopped but gives an interesting glimpse into what Bath must have been like 100 years ago (if you remove the cars!).
And the photoshopping was worth every minute. The photo has so much movement and texture and is even better for being monochrome! Someone else commented the scene is "bleak." So interesting. One person's "bleak" is another's "solitude."
I enjoy your blog and have been to Bath many years ago when I lived in England, I'm almost positive that my Dad went to college there. Your photography is wonderful. Sunny :)
This is such a lovely photo--wonderful tones, angles, subject. I am so glad that your comment on my blog brought me here to check out your blog. Thank you for sharing.
We are Tom Dawson and Emma Bond and we live in Bath. Tom is a video and film editor and web designer and Emma is a landscape designer, gardener and writer. We both love old school photography, particularly Polaroid and super8 film.

Olá amigos! Tens um lindo espaço com belas fotos, porém seria bem melhor se colocasses um tradutor, pois ficaria mais fácil para entender e comentar.
Abraços,
Furtado.
Street wthout cars would be nice. You have created a really timeless feel with this quiet image.
Great work , beautiful !
I like how bleak it looks.
we're all so lucky to be living in modern times!
Bath has such a cohesive look architecturally (well, except for the Roman stuff). I loved visiting there.
